Simon is the founder of Eastern Bridge. Following an extensive career in international relations. Simon brings over 15-year’s of experience as a executive manager, business consultant and professional director. He has received his Masters Degree in Chinese Law at Renmin University and has operated consultancy businesses, assisting foreign companies get established in China. Simon also holds the role of Executive Director for the Korea New Zealand Business Council and a diplomat for the South Korean government in New Zealand.

Lewis was appointed a Partner at Eastern Bridge Global in February 2023. In his capacity he is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the company’s export portfolio and the company’s services to businesses gaining entry into Asia’s markets. Lewis is of Thai-British descent and has a deep understanding of cross-cultural exchange and global connectivity

Wayne was appointed director of EBG in September 2022 as an experienced company director. Wayne has significant experience in the freight and logistics industry, with the majority of his career spent at at his own company RMPS International Limited. Wayne is also a director at Health Kiwi which is an ecommerce platform for the Asian community in New Zealand and an early pioneer of the ‘digo’ model where he adopted a digital platform to send NZ products abroad.

Ada overseas the company’s legal practices throughout Asia. She plays an intricate part in ensuring EB Global clients are protected in Asia markets. She has practiced for 20 years. Wang has been provided professional legal services to Fortune 500 companies’ entities in China such as Heinz (China) co., LTD, Chinese state-owned enterprises groups in Guangdong

Peter Guy oversees the company’s government relations, regional, cultural and regulatory affairs, and communications functions in China. Peter is a director of Eastern Bridge China which is a subsidiary company of Eastern Bridge Global and is a registered entity in China. ‍ Joining the company in May 2018, Peter’s corporate affairs career has spanned over 20 years across government and private sectors which also included the establishment of Jaguar Landrover in China.

Wenhua worked for China Daily, Citibank and BASF in Shanghai before migrating to New Zealand in 1998. For over a decade Wenhua worked as a senior policy analyst at the Ministry of Education, leading the development of the legislative and regulatory framework for NZ international education. During 2018 -2023 Wenhua served as the Regional Manager of Learning Hawke’s Bay – a regional body promoting international education, and joined Eastern Bridge Education in April 2023.

Christian oversees Pakihi Valley Limited which is Eastern Bridge Global owned. He is responsible for the management and regulatory affairs, and communications functions the business and advises on simulator primary industry businesses and products.

Cole joined Eastern Bridge in 2015 and has solid experience inartificial intelligence and machine learning. He has led and participated in the development and maintenance of projects, including Hongi.co.nz, and continuously integrates the latest technology into Hongi.co.nz and its new products, providing customers with more efficient and intelligent services.
